For your consideration is this 2-owner 1958 Chevy Impala 2 Door Sport Coupe with only 48,881 original miles on the clock.  The current owner has treasured this beauty since 1986 and it shows.  This 1958 Impala is a True Show Car that truly represents the way car enthusiasts did it 50 years ago.  The exterior of this timeless classic is almost all original in its' appearance other than the Cragar SS wheels.  The Onyx Black exterior paint (Code 900) is almost all original other than a few touchups over the years to help preserve her 50 year old lustrous appearance.  The interior is just as it came from the factory with black vinyl seating accented with turquoise, white and black inserts that carry over to the door panels and beautiful black carpet below.  The only modern accents to the interior is the Leather-wrapped Budnik steering wheel an Auto Meter Tachometer, new pedals and a B & M floor shifter.  Oh!  And let us not forget the well integrated sound system.   

The original 348CID engine was replaced in 2002 with a new Chevy Ram-Jet 350/350 with only the best internals money could buy.  This small block utilizes a Ram-Jet fuel injection system that closely resembles the look of the original mechanical fuel injection system that was offered on this car.  Making this Impala a superb Cross-Country cruiser is the combination of her modern day power-plant mated to a built bullet-proof 700R4 automatic transmission.  An abundance of chrome & polished aluminum components went into the beautification of the engine bay.  The undercarriage has been maintained and mildly updated as well with all new bushings, mounts, fasteners & shocks.  With the addition of disc brakes she drives & stops better than when new.  Beyond that there is little as far as exotic modifications as this Impala was built from the start to represent its' heritage as well as its' timeless classic styling.  Don't miss out on this rare opportunity to own one of the finest 1958 Impalas in existence.
